Application-Based Enrollment

Enrollment for the 2027–2028 school year will follow an application-based process. Rather than filling spots on a frantic first-come, first-served basis, applications will be reviewed together after the application window closes and placement decisions for the upcoming school year will be made.

How It Works

1. Submit an Application

Applications for the Sprouts and Seedlings classes will be accepted from December 3–18, 2026. All applications must be submitted by the deadline to be considered during the initial review. Applying earlier does not provide an advantage, as all applications received during this period will be reviewed together after the window closes.

If openings remain after initial offers have been made, applications may continue to be accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis until classes are filled.

2. Application Review

Applications will be reviewed after the application period closes. Placement decisions will take into account available openings, children’s ages, class preferences, and overall classroom balance. Families on the Priority Registration list will receive priority consideration when applicants are otherwise equally suited for an available opening.

3. Placement Offers

Placement offers are expected to be communicated in late December. Each offer will include a deadline for accepting the available spot. If an offer is declined or not accepted by the deadline, the opening will be offered to another family.

Because the number of openings is limited, submitting an application does not guarantee placement. Families who are not offered a spot will remain on a waitlist in case an opening becomes available.

Before You Apply

I encourage families to schedule a tour or attend an open house before applying. This is an opportunity to learn more about the program, ask questions, and decide whether Seed to Sprout is a good fit for your family. Ongoing tour dates are available through November. There will also be an open house on December 3 from 4-6 pm for interested families to drop in. Due to the busy nature of the month of December, additional tour dates beyond the open house will not be available.
